The ProHandle is an ergonomically designed Back-Saver handle attachment that is added on to any straight-handled, stick tool such as a garden shovel, snow shovel, rake, mop, hoe, push broom, scrub brush, weed whacker or steam cleaner. The design helps one to work with a better, less stressful posture by reducing the need to bend which reduces the risk of back injury. 5 customized positions allow the ProHandle to work with the body's natural movement and form and are particularly helpful for those with arthritic conditions or other joint ailments. This reduces strain and injury to lower back muscles and joints while helping the body to move and lift properly in the garden, during construction, landscaping or janitorial work, or even on a boat. No tools are required. Comfortable, large, ergonomically designed knobs allow the ProHandle to be easily attached or removed and are designed for ease of use by the gloved hand of a worker or those with arthritic conditions, particularly among the Boomer population. The ProHandle is also designed to withstand repetitive shock especially when digging in snow or in the garden. Thumbscrews compress rubber inserts tightly around the tool's shaft ensuring that the side clamps bite in and remain in place even during the most rigorous work. The ProHandle is currently used by many government, state and city agencies such as the U.S. National Guard, U.S. Coast Guard, NYC Parks Dept., NY & NJ Board of Education & Botanical Gardens.
