Vittata Calathea is a rarely seen, but absolutely stunning tropical plant we can't help but love. This plant's foliage is simply incredible. It's long, spear-shaped leaves would look elegant even if they were just plain green-but these leaves are far from plain. Instead, pairs of slender, white-green stripes run alongside the leaf veins, almost as if an artist painted them on by hand. It's a bold, yet elegant look that would be just as appropriate at a fancy art gallery as it would in a zoo's rainforest exhibit-or, most importantly, in your home. Vittata Calathea does best with indirect light, high humidity, and room-temperature water - a small price to pay for the wonderful show this plant's foliage puts on.
