Then start making some sawdust, and watch as the separator lid creates a cyclone in your bucket, forcing large chips and shavings to the bottom of the bucket while allowing small particles to pass to your dust collector. This helps extend the life of your dust collector’s filter and prevents it from getting clogged as easily. When the bucket is full, simply pop off the lid and dispose of the wood chips and shavings you’ve collected.
