The Dayton is a round floor planter measuring 20 in. across and 18.2 in. tall, made from 100% recycled plastic blended from ocean-sourced waste and curbside post-consumer material. It weighs 3.16 lb. empty, so one person can position it before adding soil. The plastic is UV-resistant to limit colour loss from sun exposure, in Ocean Blue for indoor or outdoor placement. The planter ships in two pieces (pot and detachable saucer tray) with pre-drilled drainage holes and no assembly required. The 20 in. diameter and 20 in. depth give root room for large patio vegetables such as tomatoes or cucumbers grown in containers. Indoors, it works as a floor pot for a small tree or an oversized houseplant, where the saucer tray catches drainage water off a wood or tile floor. Because the plastic is UV-resistant, the pot can stay out on a balcony or patio through the seasons instead of being moved inside.
