The universal joint comes pre-lubricated with SuperLube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2) with Syncolon (PTFE). Maintain the lubrication using this grease or a comparable grease as needed to reduce wear over time. The universal joint works with both friction ring and detent pin anvils. Smooth walls without grooves support friction ring engagement, and a detent pin hole on one side allows you to decide whether to engage the pin.
