The GW1200 serves as both an indoor weather station and a central gateway for a personal environmental monitoring system. Built-in sensors measure temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure, offering real-time indoor climate data. When connected to a home Wi-Fi network, this device can collect information from a wide range of external wireless sensors that are available separately. These include outdoor temperature and humidity sensors, rain gauges, anemometers, soil moisture sensors, pool and water temperature sensors, air quality monitors for PM2.5 and other particles, water leak detectors, and lightning detectors. The system supports up to eight thermo-hygrometer sensors, eight soil moisture sensors, eight pool thermometers, four PM2.5 air quality sensors, one combined air quality sensor, and one lightning sensor. It can also connect with up to sixteen smart IoT devices such as watering timers and remotely controlled switches. Through the dedicated mobile app, users can view live data from all connected sensors, calibrate readings, and manage sensor selection. The app also allows remote control of compatible smart devices. For example, a watering timer can be scheduled or triggered based on soil moisture readings, while a smart switch can turn a device on or off from any location. This integration helps create automated responses to changing environmental conditions.
