The tile beating block gets rid of any air bubbles underneath the tile or slab to improve adhesive bonding and ensure a level installation. Its rubber material prevents damage to the tile during use. The QEP Tile Beater Block is designed specifically for installing large-format porcelain tiles. It helps firmly set tile into place. By gently tapping the tile, it eliminates air bubbles trapped between the tile and adhesive. This process is critical for achieving a level installation and eliminating voids that could compromise the integrity of large format tile assemblies. It features a metal plate reinforced with rubber for optimal balance and impact absorbtion, and measures 15 in. x 6.75 in. Made of durable rubber, the Tile Beater protects your tiles from damage during use. Designed larger than most on the market, this Beater Block delivers efficiency with every use. Recommended for all large-format tile installations per the NTCA Reference Manual.
