A square mirror does something a rectangle cannot: it fills a wall section evenly rather than leaving one dimension short, and at 36 x 36 in. this is the largest panel in the range. The extra width over a 24 in. mirror also shows more of the room behind it, which is what makes a small bathroom or hallway read as larger than it is. The glass is 0.15 in. thick, resisting daily wear and scratching so the surface stays clear rather than accumulating fine marks, and a shatter-resistant film on the back raises impact resistance so a knock is contained rather than sending glass across the floor. An epoxy coating on the backing resists corrosion, which is what stops the reflective layer spotting in a humid room. The frame is brushed aluminium alloy, lightweight, corrosion and scratch resistant, and a Z-shaped bracket fixes it to the wall without complex steps while spreading the load.
